An Ode to the Ol' Cowry Shell

"Cowry or cowrie, plural cowries, is the common name for a group of small to large sea snails, marine gastropod molluscs in the familyCypraeidae, the cowries. The word cowry is also often used to refer only to the shells of these snails, which overall are often shaped more or less like an egg, except that they are rather flat on the underside.

Shells of certain species have historically been used as currency in several parts of the world, as well as being used, in the past and present, very extensively in jewellery, and for other decorative and ceremonial purposes."

I snatched this thing up immediately when I saw it- then packed it in a bag and rode my bike home

It picks up about half way through :D

They sound great together and happen to be Christian's. 

Don't get me wrong here, there are some great Christian bands,

but I tend to just come across ones on the radio that I can't really get in to!

Wish there were more bands that sounded like the other music I dig.

Desert Shoot

My girls, brother, sister, friends, and cousins all went out to Palm Desert a couple of weeks ago. My lucky sister went to Coachella in between hanging out with us by the pool at the condo.  

I loaded up gobs of Etsy wear that hadn't been modeled,

laid it all out across the couch and had them try on what they wanted to!

We had a blast and got a lil silly with it!
