Project: Clean Recycled Trash Sculpture

Everything about this projects makes me smile!
Being the hoarder that I am, I see use in all kinds of crap that normal people probably toss! (and unfortunately my lil Olivia is wired quite the same way- I like to think of us more as collectors- hahah), which is why I'm thankful I married the fella I did. He's all about tossing nearly EVERYthing- we kinda complete each other. ;)
If you got a chance to see my last post, you'll know that I got a little carried away with Elsa's project!
I vowed to not do it again!!!!
And I didn't!
Check out what Oli made!!! (with only minimal mom-assistance!)

Materials:

Mushroom top
recycled toilet paper cardboard (cut into small rectangular shapes)
tape, red and white paint,
old white tissue paper for the underside of the mushroom
 and glue

Mushroom stem-
recycled water bottle, filled with our old sandbox sand,
and green paint for grass growing up the sides.

I thought this was a creative and genius project! Especially after convincing her to NOT make the cardboard box robot that was on the instruction sheet, but to come up with an original idea.
And she did!!  :)
I've got an instagram buddy from England that mentioned a firebird project coming up for her little one.
The book is gorgeous and my minds running free with fun ideas for it- but I'll zip it! :D
Good luck Emma
