It just so happened that I felt like juicing this morning the good ol' fashioned way.
I had a plethora of tangerines that were starting to go a bit soft, so into the jadite juicer they went.

And Wa-LA! Tangerine juice. A little tangy, a little sweet!
YUM!
maybe this is just the vitamin C kick
we need to knock our colds out once and for all!!!
Here's a fun article on just how many health benefits tangerines/citrus provide!
I had no idea til just now... (though I'm not sure about the credibility of this article).
We decided to take advantage of our MLK day off
and grabbed lunch and wandered around Olvera Street in down town LA today.
Good fun, pics to follow tomorrow after class :D

My mouth is watering! Those tangerines look like orangey goodness alright.
that pic of your tree is awesome!
I sure do miss all the orange trees. I had one of the best growing up, a plum tree too. Today we are looking at a high of -5 and Olvera street taquitos and churros sound sooo warm...xoxo
Mmmm...I love tangerines. That juicer is perfect, and I need it!
Also, my neighbors have an abundance of citrus trees that they are kind enough to share with me. Think meyer lemons, grapefruit, kumquats, and oranges!
Hahaha! Citrus is so far from my reality right now! We're knee deep in snow, wrapped around mugs of varying steamy things.
I look forward to a magical time of sunshine and fruit. I hear it'll come back around in a few months.
XO,
Crystal
