We celebrated my brother's birthday recently in a tucked away little town in Agoura Hills.
We started with wine tasting at "Sip"
and then went for dinner in our own private "Mail Room" at The Old Place.
The food was fantastic!
(PS, I'd totally take a place like this!)
Wine flights at sip
Birthday Boy! :D
Couldn't refuse this sassy sign ;)
On to dinner,
we had our own little private room that used to be Cornell's old US Postoffice in the early 1900's.
The food was fantastic.
For starters we had the cheese and cured meat plate, caramelized brussel sprouts with apple and bacon, and steamed clams.
Erick ordered the Oak grilled black angus sirloin with mixed greens and a baked potato.
It was seriously one of the best steaks I've tasted. I had the wild rosemary pale ale chicken which was pretty darn good too!
I just finished a semester in the RN program.
Took my final yesterday- so I can breathe for 2 weeks... SIGH
(one short intercession semester,
and then one regular spring semester with advanced nursing- ICU kinda stuff. I can't wait)!
What shall I do today???? not study! hahahhahahh
Happy Tuesday!

looks supremely festive! I like it! And congrats on your RN studies, I've heard nursing is quite intensive (well at least in NZ)
