I was fortunate enough to make it to 3 Hollywood Bowl shows this summer.
I think it is quite possibly my favorite concert site... may be that I just love the company,
or sitting under the stars listening to all different kinds of music,
or the fun food/drinks you get to bring in... whatever it may be... I stinkin' LOVE it!
First up: Reggae Night
My brother, me, hubby
me, Erick, Juan, and Steph (my sissy) :)
sibs
Markus (cousin), Mike (brother)
Heidi and Markus
reggae dudes :D
Next: Rodrigo Y Gabriela
They were SO rad!!!!!
Mike and I got there extra early
(like a whole two hours early- oops... so we enjoyed a leisurely picnic
and some geeky photos :D
My Mama sewed this dress back in '71. It's one of my favs!!!
Mike, me, Anne, Ruben
Gabriela and Rodrigo jamin' together.
She was seriously "one" with her guitar- it's nuts!
firework extravaganza at the end.
The bowl's on FIIIRRRRRE!!!!!!
And Last.. but not least by any means... Neko Case :D
ahhh... no Neko close ups, but I do have these fun shots of us being nerds!
Ruben and Mike show us how fun really happens
Mike, Jaun, and Steph
Mike, Anne, and Erick goofin'
my sibs :D
And there you have it. I don't think I've ever posted that many pictures at the same time,
the blogger police are gonna be kicking my door down any minute!!!
I'm partly dreaming of all the summer fun, as my reality now is ScHoOl non stop til June!
There's always Halloween :D
You dressing up?
WE ARE!!!!!
My Papa's 65th bday is being held at our house...
which means there is a totally valid excuse for the adults to dress up (again) ;)
Shoot... we do it every year anyway~
Have a great night!
xx

you look beautiful as always. i love that dress your mom sewed. and your hair has gotten ever loooooonger. which makes those blunt bangs look even more smashing. this post makes me want to run away and go see some shows. i've been on lock down with my kids for a while.
oh how fun!!! and i mean FUN! Love all your concert styles...
thanks for having us along! both concerts were super fun, as always!
Your mama's dress! I love that pattern and you of course look gorgeous in it! How fun, this place sounds a lot like the Greek Theatre in Berkeley. It's been awhile but I love seeing shows there. I would love to see Neko Case live one day :)
Best of luck with school!
We are coming to California in June next year, and my husband has two things that he can think of that he REALLY wants to do. Disneyland. And a show. A BIG show. Can't wait. Thanks for the inspiration.
love that 70's dress.
