I picked this beauty up from Goodwill and had a vision for it :D
I fell in love with the overlapping sleeves and thought it'd be cute above the knee.
BEFORE
Drrrrrr, I forgot how much I don't enjoy sewing.
However... the finished product is sometimes well worth it (and I'm starting to wonder if
I should just bite the bullet and take my machine in to have the bobbin looked at!
The thread wraps around the bobbin while I'm sewing
and creates a tangley mess that stops the fabric from
feeding in any further.)
This leads to my situational turrets syndrome!
But alas... I tucked, hemmed, and sewed this lil puppy... and look!
I was excited to dance around the house in it with my girls last night :D
AFTER
Happy Thursday-
I'm off to the gym!

totally CUTE dress! LOVE the transformation! And now, I should teach myself how to sew...
lookin' good little lady! nice job :D
Nice needlework (haha!), I like the 60s vibe and the pairing with the boots. Well done crafty lady.
these are my favorite summer steals! Paige taught me to simply cut the polyester ones and they don't frey, eliminating the need for a hem (and sewing skills :)
I have a few - they are the best for the heat waves in August. Super cute.
Situational Turret's Syndrome! ;-)
Very, very cute Nicky. You definitely made the right choice and I'd say it was well worth the effort.
