Out for a walk one day, I passed a yard sale.

Naturally, I stopped and browsed.

It happened to be the house of someone I once worked with and hadn't seen in a long time.

When I found this blazer, they said... "just take it- look at all this STUFF!"

Music to my ears :D

Yup. I agreed to take it.

It was going to go in my Etsy shop, 

but my sister claimed it first!

Life on the Commune

So we laugh about this often... but really? 

We really enjoy the company of our friends and kinda half dream about 

some big property where we could live off the land,

live more simply... maybe have some hens? Who knows? haha

They've moved in with us for a short stay while house hunting... it's been lots of fun!

1st off... I GRADUATIED!!!!!!

WOOOO HOOOOO

I am now a vocational nurse... sitting for my boards in about 6 weeks

and will then be a licensed vocational nurse (LVN).

No rest for the weary... I'll be jumping into the registered nurse (RN) program in Spring!

Gotta keep climbing that nursing ladder!

Next exciting news! 

We celebrated my friend's birthday

on a small "duffy" boat in Long Beach.

We putted around the harbor for a couple of hours and had a great time.

My hubby and I wanted to go all out nautical-

this is what we came up with

Here's a little gift from me to you...

we sang this tune quite a few times on our "3 hour tour"
