Stepping out of Queen, Part ll
"Come in my garden and look at the flowers
That's what you were saying, right?
Come in my garden and look at the flowers
We can just sit and talk for hours and hours
Come in my garden, come in my garden
Come in my garden
Come in my, come in my, come in my garden
Come in my, come in my, come in my garden
Come in my garden, come in my garden
Look at the flowers, we can just sit and talk and feel
As the sun come over the valley
As the sun come over the valley
I believe, I like the way
I like your face from the left side
As you go, as you go
Stepping out queen, stepping out queen..."
Welcome to my garden,
Scrumptious Lavander
I wandered around my sad garden the other day
and realized that even when I am
neglecting my sweet plants
they are still blooming beautifully and waiting patiently for some TLC.
We're going for it today... time for some yard work :)
These are succulents from my Mama's house.
She broke me off a few to start my own... the
blooms are AMAZING!
Under the plant is one of my favorite scores from an estate sale...
this cross stitched table cloth. Perfect in our breakfast nook!
Did I mention
my Mama's on her way over here to hit up an estate sale before I start gardening?
PRIORITIES people!!! hahaha
Some new basil that I harvested from my last season basil blooms!
Can't wait to have some in my kitchen :)
Transplanted lavender from another spot in the yard
Trailing ground cover down the steps and a spa with fresh chlorine!
YAYYYY! We've been out for a while- can't wait to jump in!
First signs that our birch tree is still hanging in there! :)
Chives from last year!
They are delicious... I'm trying to get motivated to rip out and replant
this little garden box in our backyard!
Cilantro- Mmmmm
Dill gone WiLd!!!!! Don't EVER let your dill
bloom! The seeds will plant themselves around your entire yard!!!!!!!
This is about 30 feet away from the planter box!
Sweet Camilla!
This plant seems to fit our old 1928 Bungalow style house...
They used to plant these often, back then!
New Zealand Tea tree
A fern coil
A little mossy world from an ants point of view :) I want to rest here
Mexican sage- a beautiful- low maintenance shrub!
Don't know the name of this, but he's quite happy by our front door!
At school
My outfit for a day of lecture at school
Inside story: I wore this outfit last Wednesday and was made to blush
when I came across a big group of guys standing at the top of the stairs I was
climbing. When I got to the top and had to break through
their crowd, one of them spoke up and said
"DAMN GIRL!!!! You workin' da hell outta 'em boots!!!"
I turned a bright shade of red, said "thanks" fairly casually
and hoped not to trip while walking away.
I was quite flattered!
Ever notice how guys only say things like that while in a group??? haha :)
My other super thrift find,
a belt with the letter "N"
How appropriate :)
Fits snug around my hips
Hope you have a lovely weekend!
I'll let you know if I find anything that I didn't know I needed
but that I had to have at the estate sale :)
You've got til the 20th!
Good luck!
xx
