My Baby (my guitar)

"A narrow waist and broad depth create a balanced sound with the feel of a small bodied guitar. A favorite among finger-style players."

This is my baby! I love my guitar and have had it for about 10 years, we've progressed rather well together!!!

Him, Her

My hubby loves this shot! Somethin' about his "cheesy" smile here :)

Thanks for the suggestion Anne, you can find these polaroids here

Wine Tags

We celebrated my dear friend, Anne's birthday in August by going to the Hollywood Bowl for a concert. I brought her a bottle of wine and these little goodies! The "for your ears" are earrings made from Carrotwood tree flowers and the wine tags have pictures and quotes from a few Will Ferrell movies that we love to quote!!!

Rodrigo Y Gabriela

There aren't words to describe how this music makes me feel inside. I'm not sure what it is! If you're not into this type of music, I think you could at least appreciate what awesome musicians these two are... but I'd find it hard to believe you aren't tapping your toes listening to it :)

I want to see them live!!!!!!!

Anthro Top

I couldn't resist this cute top (also during employee appreciation). Here it is, being put to good use!

The pattern is made from the tiniest little cross stitches in gold and white thread (machine done of course- but amazing non-the-less!!!)

Slinky and Slouchy

Employee appreciation was ending yesterday so I swooped up one final item. This Wind Patterns Dress dress is so pretty in all of its mossiness! It started out at $98, and was marked down to a more affordable price range + discount = happy me. My heart is content and I'm looking for an excuse to wear it already :)

A birthday party was the perfect excuse to wear my dress. It is so comfy!

Neck Cozy

I checked out this book, Kids Crochet- Projects for Kids of All Ages, by Kelli Ronci, at our local library when I wanted to learn how to crochet. It's a super cute book with many cute projects!!! Seems like kids books are easier to learn from with colorful illustrations and simple instructions :) I made a neck cozy that looks like the one in the photo except in a monster green color.

Amazing what one can do with yarn and a hooked needle!!!!

Pencil Me In...

Anthropologie's very beautiful Honeyed Peplum Skirt... where I would wear this, I don't know. But it seems so worth it!
