"Z" is for Zachary

This sweet pup was a birthday present for my friend's son, Zachary. I got the pattern from a children's book at our local library. Fun quick project. I made the bag to put the pup in. It was made up on the spot and it looks like you could just pull the handles to cinch it shut, but that's not the case!??!!! Anyone have a good "drawstring" tutorial? :)

Spring

Spring is in full swing. I love all the blooming flora and fauna, but it does make my little one cough a lot. My church, Calvary Chapel Norco just had a women's retreat this last weekend and it was wonderful! I enjoyed the fellowship and the "get away." Anyone been anywhere fun lately? Any fun and inexpensive ideas for the hubby and me to get away for a weekend here in sunny southern California? Happy Tuesday!
